January
At the beginning of the month, our kids had the fantastic opportunity to go to camp! Two churches come down every year from the United States to throw a week-long day camp for one week during the summer. It is held at a nearby recreation area, and children from various churches in the surrounding area are invited. Needless to say, the kids look forward to this week all year!

January was also a month full of volunteer comings and goings! We were blessed by the time spent with Alex, Katie, and Kelly (from the Windsor Road group), Heather and Matthias (returning volunteers), and Emily and Tiffany (volunteers from New Zeeland)! Thank you!

While here, Kelly taught a baking class for the kids! All the kids enjoyed making (and eating!) their treats!

During this month, our adolescents had the opportunity to volunteer at a nearby garbage dump. They were able to attend the Bible lesson along with the local children and, afterward, give out gifts to the children. It was great to see the love these kids had for others who were less fortunate!

We have added the following blogs by our volunteers to our Blog tab: if you have a chance, take a look...they do a great job capturing their time spent with us!
